Factors and Process

Make the first steps towards demonstrating your commitment to the sales profession


Step1 Have a minimum of 2 years verified sales experience

Two professional references are required.


Step2 Complete the education requirement that demonstrates competence in Consultative Selling

Two options apply:

Step3 Schedule and complete a written and oral exam

Step4 Agree to abide by the CPSA Sales Institute Code of Ethics

The set of principles and standards that a certified sales professional will strive to adhere to with customers, organizations, competitors, communities and colleagues


Step5 Agree to fulfill the Maintenance of Certification requirement

Commit to lifelong learning by completing a minimum of 20 hours of professional development annually


Step6 Remain a member in good standing of your professional sales association



Fee

CPSA Sales Institute is waiving one year of membership fees for all those pursuing certification (valued at $154). CSP applicants must complete their certification exams within one year of registering.
  • CSP registration, $545
  • Register for CSP and CPSA′s sales training at the same time and SAVE up to $345
    CSP Registration and CPSA′s Professional Selling or Strategic Account Management, $1,795
