Find a Job Canada – Provides cost-effective recruitment solutions for organizations of all sizes, specializing in job opportunities in western Canada. Job posting fee: $40 for 60 days.
Flip Dog – Big and small, public and private companies are found here through links to openings on employers websites. Worldwide postings. Job posting fee: $125 for 30 days.
FutureStep – An executive search service for management professionals, offered by Korn/Ferry International and the Wall Street Journal. Free registration.
GO Jobs – General job board that also serves as a “job distribution” company reposting the listings of other online job boards with Canadian and U.S. Jobs.
Hot Jobs – Uses a mini job board that is plugged directly into a corporate website and allows candidates to search through a company’s jobs (by job type, location and keyword) and apply online. Job posting fee: $99 for 30 days.
Hunt Personnel – Listings of all jobs in the Hunt Personnel database, both temporary and permanent arranged by city. Search Hunt jobs listed on both Monster and Workopolis, in either French or English.

JobShark – Available in French and English, covering employment in the U.S. and internationally. A membership of thousands of job-seeking professionals. Job posting fee: $395 for 30 days.
Job Toaster – A general job site for international positions. Employers can add quizzes to job applications, including multiple choice questions to help pre-screen resumes.
Jobvertise – A job and resume database with Canadian and U.S. postings. Job posting fee: featured jobs are $49.95 for 30 days, other are free.
JoPit – A worldwide job search engine for professionals.
Monster Canada – The Canadian site of Monster.com, a global online network for careers, connecting companies with career-minded individuals. Offers tools that give consumers and businesses more control over the recruiting process. Job posting fee: $495 for 30 days.
Net-Temps – Brings staffing firms together with candidates for contract assignments and direct placement. Features a cross-posting distribution of more than 500 Internet search engines, portals, directories, online services and newsgroups as classified employment ads. Recruiting firms pay a monthly subscription fee.
RecruitersCafé.com – A networking and split placement community for third-party recruiters and corporate hiring managers in the U.S. and Canada. Job posting fee: $100 for 30 days.
RegionalHelpWanted – A family of websites for areas across Canada and the U.S. Find the city you want to search and go directly to listings for that area.
Skillnet – An Industry Canada site providing services and tools for recruitment, career, labour information and learning.
Sympatico Lycos Careers - The careers section is reached by clicking on the “careers” link on the main page of the Sympatico site. It links to Workopolis.com but also provides links to job banks in Canada and around the world.
TrueCareers – A U.S. Based site with Canadian jobs providing recruiters access to pre-filtered candidates with education and experience.
working – Uses CanWest MediaWorks’ 11 major metro daily newspapers, its leading Global television stations, specialty TV channels and the canada.com network to provide an efficient meeting group for recruiters and potential new employees.
The Work Place – Links to daily online want ads form Canadian local and national papers, provided by HRSDC.
Workopolis – This site is a partnership of the Globe and Mail, Toronto Star and Gesca Ltd, a subsidiary of Power Corporation of Canada. It pulls together career listings from several different newspapers, posting hundreds of new jobs daily. Job posting fee: $650 per job for 30 days.
Workstream – Formerly E-Crutier, this site has links to companies offering jobs and services. Owns a variety of job boards in numerous industries.
Worktree.com – a large online job search portal linking job seekers to thousands of job sites and resources on the internet.
HR Job Boards
The Hire Authority – Human Resource Professionals Association of Ontario’s employment referral service where members can take advantage of an online listing form for immediate postings. Job posting fee: $96 for members; $249 for non-members for 30 days.
HR Jobs – Jobs posted by SHRM with listings from across the U.S. and around the world. Search listings by geographic location, job title or date of posting. Job postings appear both online and in HR News, the society’s flagship newspaper.
HR World – U.S. member-based information, resources and employment opportunities for HR professionals. Free membership.
The Human Resources Association of Calgary – Career Link is an online job posting form for members to list HR openings in Calgary and the surrounding area.
Job Central – International Human Resources Information Management (IHRIM) website with U.S. and Canadian postings. Also look under individual chapters for local job posting sections.
Job Connect – Canadian HR and payroll jobs, posted on the Canadian Payroll Association’s website. Jobs are listed by province. Job posting fee: $149 for CPA members; $249 for non-members for 30 days.
Jobs 4 HR – A U.S. based site with some Canadian listings. Posted jobs are sent via e-mail or job hunters can search through job postings. Job posting fee: U.S. $200 for 60 days.
JobLinks – Canadian job listing service for compensation, benefits and HR rewards professionals offered by WorldatWork, formerly the Canadian Compensation Association. Searches can be viewed by job title, location or key word searches. Job posting fee: $235 for six weeks.
Recruiters Network – A free association for HR professionals, recruiters and hiring managers, proficing resources and information on the recruiting and Internet recruiting industry. The site links to Jobs4HR.com for access to jobs as well as links to other (mostly American) job boards.
TCM HR Career Centre – Organizations looking for full-time people or short-term contractors can purchase a quick search, post their requirements or subscribe to the resume pool. Focuses on HR training and development. Job posting fee: $100 for 30 days.

Alumni-Network – A full service and licensed recruitment agency specialising in e-commerce/e-business, ERP and other IT staffing requirements in Canada and the U.S. The network spans North America and overseas, and is affiliated with more than 400 recruitment agencies around the world.
British Columbia Institute of Technology – Student Employment Services provides employers with resumes and opportunities to visit students on campus. Job posting fee: $30 for 21 days.
CampusCareerCenter.com – University and college career centres from across Canada and the U.S. provide job opportunities for students.
Career Edge (Canada’s Youth Internship Program) – A national not-for-profit organization whose mandate is to enhance youth employability. Aimed at those who have finished their education but lack career-related work experience.
Career Owl – A Canadian non-profit organization with postings from coast to coast to help employers and post secondary students and alumni find jobs. Job posting fee: $49 for eight weeks.
CollegeJobBoard.com – Job boards for all types of students in the U.S., both permanent and part-time. Job posting fee: U.S. $295 for 30 days.
Department of National Defence – Information on careers in the Canadian forces including career profiles, civilian careers and the Royal Military College.
Federal Student Work Experience Program – Students complete one application and are eligible for more than 7,000 student jobs in the federal government, full time or part time.
Job Postings – Dedicated to helping students in both Canada and the U.S. identify, research and contact companies that are actively recruiting on campus. Job posting fee: $150 for 61 days.
On-Site – Canadian employers are matched with college and university jobseekers for work up to six months.
University of Toronto – Career Centre – Job board and on-stop venue for employers seeking to hire students from the University of Toronto.
WorkopolisCampus – Formerly Campus Worklink, services are offered in French and English. Employers can search through online resumes of recent graduates.

Apply to Teach – A Canadian site for teachers developed by the Centre for Education and Training and Industry Canada. Teachers can have their resume made available to 10 different school boards of their choice in order to apply for a position within a school board, not just a single opening. Also open to private employers.
Apprenticsearch – Facilitates the match between people looking for skilled trades employment and apprenticeship opportunities. Free service, jointly sponsored by HRSDC, which is currently only available in Southern Ontario.
BeThe1 – A worldwide site serving the fashion and beauty industry. Matches job requirements and employee skill sets. Employers can view the tip 10 candidates for positions.
Bilingual Jobs – Features Canadian and international postings for those in the bilingual profession, including jobs in translation, technology and the service industry.
BrainsTalent – Features positions in Atlantic Canada. Updated daily with postings from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador and Prince Edward Island.
Business Gateway – Website offering business resources for the small business sector in Canada. Provides links to job postings and resume bank websites.
Call Careers – Canadian jobs in the call centre industry from Canadajobs.com. Job posting fee: $150 for 60 days.
Canada’s BioTech Job Bank – Combines a bi-weekly e-mail broadcast to more than 16,000 recipients and a searchable database of jobs in biotechnology, life sciences and pharmaceuticals.

DiversityJob – Canada’s equal opportunity website, helping minorities find an equal opportunity employer and helping employers find a diverse workforce.
Edhunters – Presented by the Baxter Group, this free service has postings for teachers, administrators and support staff in the education sector in Canada. All information is posted and updated by the hiring party and candidates respond directly to employers.
Education Canada – Free postings of jobs and resumes for educational employment opportunities, sorted by province.
Execunet – Executive careers in the U.S. for those making more than $100,000 ( U.S.). Job hunters may pay dues to belong to the site and take part in networking sessions.
For Her Success – an employment website delivering services to companies looking for diversity in the workplace and seeking professional women to meet HR diversity goals.
