Board Nominations
Nomination Criteria
Each year, CPSA calls for nominations to its Board of Directors. CPSA is seeking applicants based on the following criteria:
- Are experienced in the field of sales, sales management and general management
- Bring a unique skill set
- May represent regional or gender balance or strategic segment of our membership
- Have demonstrated interest in the association by accomplishments as a committee volunteer
- Have demonstrated through industry or community involvement good stewardship and governance
- Work well as part of a team, contribute reasoned opinion and accept and support decisions reached by the Board
Board Demands
As a board member, directors should expect the following:
- There are generally four board meetings per year
- Time commitment would be five days plus preparation time
- In addition, board members may be expected to serve on committees or task forces
Applying to CPSA's Board
Members interested in serving on CPSA's Board of Directors can apply to the Nominating Committee or submit an official nominating form with the required 25 signatures of members seconding the nomination.
