The 2011 limit on deductible tax-exempt allowances paid by employers remains unchanged from 2010: 52 cents for the first 5,000 business kilometres travelled and 46 cents per km for each additional business kilometre travelled thereafter.

For the Yukon Territory, Northwest Territories and Nunavut, the tax-exempt allowance is 56 cents for the first 5,000 kilometres driven and 50 cents for each additional kilometer.
