SALES TRAINING FACILITATOR - WESTERN CANADA

The Canadian Professional Sales Association is Canada’s only national sales organization. The CPSA helps build knowledge and skills to improve sales performance through professional development programs, networking opportunities and exclusive member resources and benefits. The CPSA’s 21,000+ members are found in almost every sector of the Canadian economy and cover a wide range of job functions, predominantly within commercial sales.

The CPSA is seeking Sales Training Facilitators located in Calgary and/or Vancouver to deliver our accredited sales training programs to our members. In this role, you will act as the CPSA’s Ambassador and deliver top quality sales training to both new and mid-career sales professionals.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the in-class facilitation of CPSA sales training sessions using 21st century teaching and adult learning principles
  • Act as a knowledgeable sales resource to bring industry examples and sales case studies to life throughout the course
  • Act as a mentor and coach for CPSA students through the duration of courses
  • Prepare for and lead virtual coaching sessions for sales training participants in CPSA’s learning management system
  • Advocate for the CPSA, CPSA designations, and the sales profession across Canada

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

  • Engage in course debrief sessions with CPSA to help inform course updates and revisions
  • Attend continuous professional improvement meetings with CPSA

KEY SKILLS

  • Ability to articulate key sales concepts through real life experiences
  • Experience managing sales professionals
  • Work experience in a variety of industries
  • Demonstrable experience in the following sales skills areas:
    • Prospecting and lead generation
    • Developing Client Focused Solutions
    • Strategic Account Management
    • Negotiation and Closing
    • Consultative Selling

REQUIREMENTS

  • An undergraduate degree from a university (or a college diploma combined with more than 10 years’ sales experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in adult training and development
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience independently managing customer’s accounts
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales management
  • Ability to articulate key sales concepts through real life experiences
