The CPSA is excited to announce a partnership with University of the Fraser Valley (UFV). This partnership recognizes that the sales knowledge and skills delivered by the UFV’s School of Business's brand new Professional Sales minor curriculum is aligned with the CPSA’s Sales Professional Competency Framework. UFV is the first and only university in Canada where a student can earn a minor in professional sales. Students are now provided with the pre-requisite education needed to obtain the CPSA Institute Sales Certificate and to pursue their Certified Sales Associate (CSA) designation.
The Professional Sales minor includes 24 credits that will train students as sales professionals. They will master foundational business and marketing concepts, develop strong sales skills, explore personal development, and be introduced to sales management practices. As part of the sales courses, students will complete personal assessments that helps identify their unique strengths as a salesperson and will learn how to leverage them for success. Every student also completes a professional sales practicum, giving them the opportunity to apply their learning and gain real-world experience.
