We are pleased to announce that Janine Kavander is our new Director, Sales and Partner Engagement for the Canadian Professional Sales Association. Janine will have responsibility for leading and developing a growth-oriented team focused on client and accredited educator partner needs. As a member of our operating committee, she will also play an integral role supporting ongoing development of new tools, development programs, and support services that advance the profession and accelerate member success.
Janine has been described as having a unique balance of being a straightforward, no-nonsense business leader while still being warm, friendly, and approachable. She most recently served as the Director of Client Partnerships with Horn Sales and Leadership Development, a training and consulting organization. Prior to this Janine was the National Director, Learning and Development at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation/Radio-Canada , and National Director of Operations for Berlitz Canada.
Janine has a demonstrated track record of success as a sales leader in each of her previous roles, bringing the CPSA strengths in creating mutually beneficial partnerships, a genuine quality focus with advanced project execution skill, and as an engaging facilitator and relationship-builder. Having worked with executives and senior leaders within Canadian and global corporate clients, Janine has developed a broad set of experiences and competencies that have consistently led to significant new business successes with the organizations she has served.
Among her numerous academic accomplishments, Janine earned a master’s degree from the University of Ottawa and bachelor’s degree from Queen’s University.
We know Janine and her team will achieve success through their work in engaging and equipping the Canadian sales community – sales professionals, employers, educators and partners – to meet the evolving demands of the new economy and creating lasting success for those we serve.
