March 7, 2024 - Toronto, ON - 2024 marks an
incredible milestone for CPSA. This year, we proudly celebrate our 150th anniversary, a
testament to our enduring commitment to supporting and advancing sales
professionals across Canada. Since 1874, CPSA has been at the forefront,
shaping the sales industry with rigorous standards, ethical guidelines, and
industry-recognized designations and training programs.
CPSA traces its
roots back to 1874 when a group of industrious sales professionals founded the
Commercial Travellers Association of Canada (CTAC). Their objective was to
support the moral, intellectual, and financial advancement of their members,
and over the years, their initiatives evolved into the benefits our members
enjoy today. In 1991, CTAC became CPSA,
ushering in a new era truly focused on sales professionals; their development,
tools & resources, matched by a set of leading sales standards.
Today, we proudly represent nearly 10,000 members as the unified
voice of the sales profession, offering a robust suite of professional
development opportunities, skills advancement programs, and member-based
benefits.
But in 2024, we're not just celebrating our past achievements;
