The employer′s goal in the hiring process is to select those candidates who possess the knowledge, skills and abilities or other attributes and competencies that lead to successful job performance. Many employers use a variety of psychological and skill-based assessments to assess a candidate′s performance or capacity.
Whenever possible, employers should provide feedback to applicants and even candidates who didn’t get the position on their test performance or on any decisions they have made based on results, unless this right has been waived by the candidate or is prohibited by law. However, many companies do not provide candidates with feedback about how they did on these tests.
