According to a 2019 LinkedIn report, women represent 39% of the workforce in sales. This percentage has only increased by 3% over the past decade. Not surprisingly, the percentage decreases as seniority increases, with the lowest percentage of women represented in VP and C-Suite positions. Only 21% of Vice Presidents in Sales are female.

In celebration of International Women’s Day and the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women, CPSA is hosting an important panel webinar, “Reshaping Sales: Closing the Gap and Empowering Women”.

In this panel discussion, learn how you can help close the gender gap in sales and hear from three women with diverse backgrounds and expertise who will share their stories, successes, and challenges with navigating and developing the profession despite the systemic biases challenging women’s equitable participation in workplaces around the world.

Raveen Bhatti, CSA, CSP

Raveen's passion for helping people achieve their full potential has allowed her to gain experience as a leader who has implemented programs and processes around leadership development, organizational talent development and performance management. In addition, Raveen is a skilled facilitator and effective sales coach (Approve NTD facilitator through Canadian Professional Sales Association) that seeks to understand the audience and desired objectives which allow me to cater the approach to maximize the learning and development experience.

Raveen is a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) champion who supports leaders in fostering an inclusive workplace. Her personal leadership focuses on building safe spaces where each team member’s boundaries are respected; they are treated as unique individuals and encouraged to share their ideas and opinions openly. This is foundational to helping her build strong and impactful teams.

Lisa LeitchLisa Leitch, CSP CSL

Lisa is driven by the mantra – Be Strategic. Be Pro-active. Be Brave. – and have been successfully training and coaching sales leaders and their teams to do the same for over 15 years.

She has worked with CPSA as a Strategic and Accredited Partner for the past 12 years training hundreds of corporate sales teams.

Lisa recognizes that the competitive sales landscape is ever changing and that sales teams need to evolve with the times. She transitions salespeople away from the standard “product & price” approach that isn’t enough to deliver revenue in today’s market. Rather, she trains & coaches salespeople to upgrade their skills, set goals, and have purposeful business conversations with their customers that generate results.

She also understands what it takes to be successful in sales as she was one of the top multi-million-dollar sales professionals in her industry, which earned her the role of VP of Sales & Client Services.

Many clients from the marketing and promotional, financial, home building material, agriculture and manufacturing sectors ask Lisa to work with them for three months to three years or more.

Lisa is a CSP – Certified Sales Professional and Certified Speaker Professional – the only female in Canada to hold the dual designation, along with the recent CSL – Certified Sales Leader designation.
