Are you looking for a new CRM? There are so many options on the market today that it can be difficult to uncover which will be the best for your salespeople. Here we’ll take a look at the best Customer Relationship Management systems you can use to compile the info your reps need on customers across different channels.

We’d certainly be remiss if we didn’t start with Salesforce - the Rolls Royce of CRM’s. As the market leader, Salesforce has set the benchmark for what a CRM needs to provide and pretty much any app or service you come across will integrate with its dashboard. It has a vast array of functions and is accessed entirely online meaning no setup or infrastructure. The platform is highly customizable with a robust range of additional product add-ons. But this tool comes at a steep cost which may be prohibitive for smaller organisations or start ups. Their most popular plan - Lightning Enterprise - is USD 150 per user, per month, although they do have plans starting at USD 25 per user, per month with far less features.

Our first Salesforce alternative is ProsperWorks which is recommended by Google. So if your business runs off G Suite, this CRM will integrate seamlessly with your existing tools like Gmail and Google Drive and works right out of your inbox. It’s super easy to use and can be picked up quickly by anyone already familiar with Gmail. Plus it has a range of analytics, automation and AI capabilities to keep you on track.  Their most popular plan - Professional - costs USD 49 per user, per month but they have alternative plans at USD 19 (Basic) and USD 119 (Business) depending on your business needs.

Another affordable alternative CRM is Contactually. It also links to your existing email platform (whether Gmail or Microsoft) and integrates with many other widely used apps. The platform is great for collaboration, finding leads, generating referrals and nurturing repeat customers. Unlike the previous two CRM’s, Contactually’s pricing is not based on number of users, so their most popular plan - Accelerator - is USD 99 per month for an unlimited number of users with several other pricing options available.

Zoho One

Zoho’s all-in-one suite gives you much more than a CRM. It gives you everything you need to run your business - from sales to finance to HR. Their suite includes over 35 integrated, online apps, each with mobile and native versions, along with many extensions and extras. There’s no differentiation levels in terms of pricing, so all applications are fully-featured, enterprise editions. Their suite gives you everything you need to grow sales, market your business, do your accounting and communicate with teammates and customers. Pricing is USD 30 per user, per month.

The last CRM on our list is Insightly. As well as CRM functions, Insightly has its own project management system and a mobile and social media component. Pricing is based on a freemium model, so it’s free for up to two users and then there are many options available; the most popular - Professional - is USD 49 per user, per month. It’s great value, easy to use and has a good range of features. If you are a very small business, this would certainly be a great pick for your sales team.
